photos from my iphone

i just ate some popcorn.

so i decided to kill sometime before going to bed on my popcorn stomach.

here are some photos, in no particular order.

all of the other recent iphone photos are in the previous post about our anniversary.

last week i had a bridal shower for emily at our apartment. i made some of those foofie pom pom tissue paper flower ball things. i just love them. in fact, all of the small ones are still hanging there. the 2 big ones fell down. i will be bringing them to my classroom to spruce it up. i wanted to do that for this school year but that never happened. so they will be there for next year. 

love finding a cute/fun piece of clothing and having a gift card to pay for it. like this gem. also i always love me some coral hence the wedding color last year. and i always have a coral shirt. starting in high school. some sort or orangey/coraly color. 

 Oh my love. i'm saving this one until the end.

this is the juice i made the other day.

isn't that so beautiful? it goes something like this:

1 beet, 6 carrots, ginger, 1 orange, 1 green apple, 2 cucumbers, some kale, and some spinach. it was delicious. 

 horrible picture, but i was just snapping it for my dear sister erin to tell her how fabulous this yogurt is.  amande almond milk yogurt. find it here. i've tried peach and coconut. both so good, but i like the coconut best. 

steven bought me some gerber daisies on our anniversary. and then i bought some the next day for my room moms that are so helpful. isn't that pretty? i love flowers. LOVE flowers. LOVE LOVE LOVE flowers. especially when they are from my love.

okay, this kid like never writes in his journal. change that to he writes very little in his journal. he struggles with writing. and handwriting. but this is a HUGE improvement from the beginning of the year.

yesterday he brought me his journal. it's supposed to be at least 3 sentences. i said, "bud, this is good and a lot of writing, but there's only one sentence. and you said the word "do" like 50 times!"

to which he replied, "no, see it says, "mario is ??? do, do do, do do do do,......" and sang the mario brothers theme song. it was hilarious. and i showed another teacher. he wrote the whole song out. i love first grade. i am going to miss that kid.

oh, this is from a farr's trip like 2 weeks ago since that was the last time i went. 

i saw this on pinterest and died. strike through sassy and say "white party". 

Outta the way, world.  I've got my white party pants on today.

okay--best for last!!

this sweet husband of mine showed up in my classroom around 10.27 (right before recess ended so i could sneak in a kiss) and brought me flowers on our anniversary monday!! then, he read a story to my kids and they were loving it. he came in once before christmas break during a mad art project hour, and they've been asking for him ever since. my heart was melting the whole time he was reading this. 2 of my loves: steven [my LOOOOOOOVE{r}] and my kiddos [love 'em like my own].

life is so beautiful.

{and then you remember you are doing a musical number in church on sunday and your heart stops. not like your heart stops because your love walks through the door. like your heart stops because you say, "oh shoot...that's in 3 days!}
