some random thoughts. 


1) today i asked my dad what BMW stands for. i already knew. bavarian motor works. but what i meant and had to correct myself was what does it stand for in german, because, you know, they speak a different language over there. he said "bayern motor weeks. something like that. google it." so i did and it google lead me to this, "ands for "Bayerische Motorenwerke" which means Bavarian Motorfactories." so yeah. that's that.
2) steven scared the living daylights out of my last night. like bloody murder, hit him scare. and then he tried to apologize and hug me and i said get away from me. i am mad at you. and that didn't last long.
3) um, remember when steven left me for 3.5 months for his internship in dc? well, it was a huge blessing. HUGE. i mean, the blessings that have come from it.  the sacrifice seems so small now that we've already received so many blessings from it (and started receiving those blessings from day 1 that he was gone). also, so glad that is over.
4) remember when i see an idea on someone else's teaching blog and i say: "done, i'm doing it tomorrow." and then i do.  yeah, that's about how far in advance i plan right now.  can't wait for next year when i can be a little more prepared because i will know what to expect.
5) my sweet, crazy boy changed his name to coy. coy? also he had a sweet new faux-hawky hairstyle today. i guess that's what coy does. also i am slightly disappointed because this boy's middle name is steven...i'm married to steven. "coy" has an asu jersey he sometimes wears...steven went to asu for a year.  "coy" has a byu hat and some other byu clothing items...steven goes to byu. so pretty much, "coy" loves steven.  he told me in the fall that he was changing his name to steven. he also named his potato steven [don't ask--it was a creative writing activity/art project]. oh, and one day he came into school wearing some slacks and a white button-down shirt [it was monday--i guess he was still feeling the sunday best] and he looked like he was going to CRY and then i said, "coy, what's wrong?" and he unzipped his sweatshirt and said, "my mom wouldn't let me wear a tie today." and i said, "steven only wears ties to church [and work]. he likes to dress up too, but he doesn't want to ruin his ties so he only wears them to church." and then he felt better. gosh that kid is so funny and cute and crazy. 
6) spring break in t-9 school days. i just heard, "And the rockets red glare!!! the bombs bursting in air!!!" in my head like super loudly. like christina aguilera or beyonce going crazy on it. ps, what happened to christina aguilera? remember how her voice is like amazing and then...yeah? and beyonce had a baby named blue lily. i only know that because of ellen.
7) speaking of ellen, why was there a re-run today!? her spring break shows are always in orlando at universal studios. i was disappointed when i had to come home and "watch" confessions of a shopaholic on tv [which is not true to the books--i was obsessed with them in high school].
8) and steven's done with his homework. goodnight.
