i heart life.

YEAH, i said it.

double meaning there.
1: i just said, or rather, typed, "i heart life." that's new for me.
2: em and i were having SO much fun last saturday night and she said something and then said, "yeah, i said it."  wasn't a necessary comment, but was HILARIOUS and we laughed and laughed.

so here are the reasons i'm "hearting" life right now:

one
still have the world's best husband. really. we're perfect for each other.

two
my sweet little first graders are just that: sweet.
today one kid randomly raised his hand while we were practicing our handwriting.  i walked over to answer his question but instead he said, "you're really pretty." is it weird that a 1st grader made me blush? then after lunch he said it again to someone in our class. hello, i think someone has a crush on me [besides steven].

three
one of my sweet little first graders gives me a hug after school every day.  tuesday she gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek!  obviously i can't kiss her back, but still, so cute. [same little girl that said, "mrs. hopper, i love you." here.]

one of my sweet, crazy little first graders also gives me hugs fairly often. i usually leave my door open during recess [since i'm not backed up directly to the playground] and a girl came in and i started doing some little jobs for me. then my sweet, crazy little boy came in and gave me a big hug and then left!

five
our trash needed taken out wednesday am. badly. so i took it out at 5.15 am [on my way to the gym...it wasn't that bad!].  and then i got back from the gym and the kitchen smelled trashy still, so i looked in the unbagged trash can and noticed that my egg yolks leaked into the bottom.  sick!! i didn't have time to wash it, nor did i have a hose, so i quickly put some soap and water in the bottom and set it outside the door. when i came home from school thursday [yes, a whole day and a half later!], i planned to rinse it out.  well....someone did it for me!!! and someone has taken our trash down, too, when i set it outside the door until i leave the house next. normally that is steven's chore. [because there is no chore i hate more.]

six
maybe the biggest and best is HOW MUCH Steven and i have been blessed since we got engaged.  meeting steven was a huge blessing and ever since he put that ring on my finger, the blessings haven't stopped flowing. yes, sacrifices have been made, but the bigger our sacrifice, the more we've been blessed. it's pretty incredible. we love the Lord, and we know he loves us.

engaged!

married! [that's at our ring ceremony.]

seven
okay, this is also a big one.  steven is pretty much amazing.  oh, did i already say that? it's because he's just that amazing and i can't get him out of my mind.   LOVE.
