trader joe's

i love trader joe's.  sprouts, tj's, costco. these are a few of my favorite things.  and whole foods and texas' central market (which is basically whole foods, but with a really cool set up and they do different food weeks).
but what i love about tj's, other than a ton of things about their food, is the "shopper in training" mini shopping carts they have.  i've been waiting for kenley to be able to walk for so long so she can use one of those.  she needs the teensiest bit of assistance still for her cautious self, but she can really go to town with her little walker.  and she loves when i hold her and she "pushes" the cart or her stroller. so, why not let her try it?

it was h i l a r i o u s.  she's so tiny (height wise) that it was just hilarious! and people thought it was so cute and this french man was saying "bonjour" and stuck his hand out for kenley to shake it, but she was like, "excuse me, i'm shopping here, and i am not taking my hand off this cart!"
the cart slightly veered to the right, so she kind of went in circles.  whenever i would put my hand on to help her steer, she would stop, take her hand and move my hand!  little miss independent, i tell ya!  so i steered from the end of the cart.

for a quick trip to tj's, it took us double the time.  and then i forgot the eggs, which was one of the main reasons i went, but luckily i remembered as we were getting in the car so we ran back in.

best     mom    ever.  right here.  i really want to enjoy these sort of moments.  does it really matter if it took us an extra ten minutes? not really.  what matters is she loved it.  and so did i.

and now i love trader joe's even more.

but, ask me again
when i have 4 kids
and they all want a cart
but there aren't enough.
i may change my mind.
