a few things kenley is currently loving:
* walking EVERYWHERE with her little walker. or pushing her car. or a laundry basket. or along the wall. or holding a finger. she is SO close to walking, she's just a little nervous!
* talking a ton. my favorite is when she yells, "DADDDDYYYYYYY!" when she wants his attention or sees him. she can also say, "hi," "mom" & "mama," "eee-s" (cheese), "nanas" (banana), "am" (lamb/lamby), "nama" (grandma), "nay-na" (dana--at least, i'm pretty sure since she says it every time we face time aunt dana. she also says something similar when we face time aunt andi). and then she also speaks a bunch of kenley language.
*understands a lot. shoes, avocados, yogurt, blueberries, all the words she says, book, lamb, walk, wave, kisses, body parts: nose, head/hair (they're basically the same?), belly, toes, tongue, ears, no!, yes, and more i can't think of right now...
* blows kisses, covers her ears, waves, tries putting on her shoes or putting my shoes on me, closes doors, reading books, and more that i can't think of right now.
this age is so fun! also, we have our fair of tantrums, which are difficult since she's a little too young to really understand, but she is a pretty good baby! we are so blessed and grateful to have this little girl in our family. we love her SO much!!
i peek on her almost every night. the other night, she had her lamb under her cheek, her arm over the bottom of it and her pig, and her arm sticking out the slats. it was too precious. i snapped this horrible photo and then carefully moved her arm.
