a few pictures from our 4 days in chicago (round 2), 2 days in arizona, and 3.5 days in california.

thanks to steven's firm, kenley had a pretty "suite" set up at the hotel. including her own burt's bees bath set up, and two stuffed animals. and a full size crib! plus, we could move her to the "dressing area" outside the bathroom, on the other side of the bedroom/living area, which meant steven could work and i could have the tv on. we all slept much better!
kenley enjoyed pushing this stool around in the bathroom. (you can also see through the bathroom doors, where we would move her crib at night.)

kenley and i went to corner bakery for breakfast in the mornings.
reminded me of the first time i went to dc and fell in love with it with claire and her family and we went to the corner bakery by our hotel there every morning.
we went to whole foods for lunch everyday. kenley LOVES when we share a veggie juice, specifically the kale-aid (green lemonade). she would drink about 8oz of it. she does the same when i make juices at home.
we also went to the park just about everyday. she loves the swings!
the last day i took a picture of this old fire station by the park. and of course, that day, the cool red garage door was open. still a neat old building.

A R I Z O N A
kenley woke up really early the first morning. and the second morning. she was in the same room as us and the sun would come streaming in pretty early. plus, it was two hours back, so she had a hard time getting all of her sleep. i snuck this picture of her one morning as she put her head down trying to go back to sleep. she ended up in somewhat of a modified pigeon pose. i get so proud every time she busts out yoga asana.

grandma and andi played with kenley in the lobby while steven and i went upstairs with his dad and brother to see great grandma hopper, who's sadly in the hospital right now. we were so glad we were able to see her, and kenley was able to see her the first night, too.

and i didn't really take any other pictures. oops. we were having too much fun in arizona and california! we can't wait to go back!
