kenley chronicles

kenley is growing and getting older and more mobile and more fun.  she's really fun. she's so hilarious these days.

it should be noted that she still only has 2 teeth.  her top two are coming down, but they haven't even started cutting through the gum yet.  which is totally fine, because teething is the worst.

someone found the rest of the rice cakes from our trip in my bag.  oops.

she pulls herself up on everything. all of the time.  we finally got her a walker/push toy, which she's been using like crazy. she doesn't even want to eat because she just wants to walk with it. so maybe she'll be walking soon?? other than that, it's still an army crawl, which she is super fast at. and an occasional knee crawl.

she loves getting snacks on her own.

one morning i walked in to get her and she was standing in her crib.  so i lowered it.  when i got her from her nap later, she had some books in there.  since her crib was lower, she could reach the little magazine holder that has a few books in it next to her rocking chair.  so now that has a new location. and speaking of nap time, she's taking one nap a day now.  fyi.

this girl loves playing.  like, so much. and she plays so well on her own.  she really likes figuring things out and how things work.  she loves taking things out and putting things in. she likes putting lids on things, or straws in things. and she really likes taking all of the books of the shelf.

she found this golf ball in our closet (??) and would pick it up, toss it, crawl to it, and do it again.  for quite a few minutes.  oh, and she loves putting my old headbands on her head. and she will keep them on there for quite awhile. but she won't keep her little stretchy soft ones on.

remember last year when they were this size? i so miss it.

but now they are moving a ton and just so much fun!!
