i have a list of things to finish, like her curtains (one needs the sides done, still. *i want/need a serger!!! also i need to fix the blackout curtains behind them.), and something needs to go on that wall above the changing pad, and i need to paint the baskets of the mary poppins shrine.
but, here is her room in poor lighting from my phone (as 90% of my pictures are. or 100%).
don't look too closely at that dresser. i repainted it recently and i don't recommend painting over laminate. especially on a third floor balcony on a slightly windy day. but from far away, it ain't so bad. also, the drawer pulls looked gold online but came out looking like an antique gold, so i may be spraying them shiny gold.
the quilt and pillow my mom made.
and the blanket in the crib was there because the little babe was so sick and threw up in her bed a few times. awful. so awful.
i also made that ottoman when i was a sophomore in high school. it's been recovered like 3 times now. but this time i added that bow, because, duh.
those curtains will most likely be the death of me. i might buy some inexpensive, plain white ones to go behind and cover up the blackout curtains, which i need to buy rings for. oh man. serious headache. i started making those in september and they've been hanging there unfinished since then.
You go girl! Things take time and you'll get there. The nursery is looking so incredibly cute so far! Also Hailey and Kenley have the same crib. Holla! I have wanted to redo Hailey's nursery pretty much since the day we painted it. HAHA! But I keep thinking were moving. Last week I went to Home Depot and looked at paint colors but have since talked myself out of re-panting once again. One day we'll move and have a real job and I will use all of our money on decorating our future home just the way I like! ;) Miss you!
