dana was in town last weekend! it was so fun to have a familiar face around so soon after the holidays. {read: post holiday blues wah, wah.} we didn't do a ton of stuff {money, baby, winter}, but we did get a few fun things in!
kenley was so excited her aunt dana was coming to town!
she wouldn't focus while eating.
and gee, will you look at the size of those cheeks!? i just can't get over how thick they are!
we took dana to our favorite pizza place, grimaldi's. {like the same famous grimaldi's under the brooklyn bridge.} DANA APPROVED. but, you'd be crazy not to.
kenley loves reading and playing with books, especially when her aunt dana is reading her a book she got her for christmas!
steven and i spoke in church on sunday and kenley got to sit with her aunt the whole time. ummmm, that's the best she's ever been at church! dana, come back every week!!
oh, hey guys. just chillin' on my dana.
we went to baby bounce! it had been a month since kenley last went. despite her expression, she loved it!
we took dana out for some good ol' fashioned texas bbq afterward.
dana and i saw Saving Mr. Banks at some nearly abandoned mall. the theater was pretty good and it was only $6 at night, so, i'll take it. also, we went on a monday so there was only one other person in the theater. the movie was SO GOOD. if you know me, then you know i love all things mary poppins. so much. side note: i finally put kenley's mary poppins shrine on the wall. really, it's my shrine, but in kenley's room.
it was a fun and relaxing weekend! thanks to dana for playing with kenley and also babysitting her so we could go to the temple together for the first time since baby girl was born! it was so peaceful and nice to go with each other, rather than tag teaming it.
