5 fat turkeys

okay this post title is from a song from our first grade program, which is tomorrow night.  and it was this morning for the school.  all i can say is my kids are so cute up there, and some of them i was biting my tongue to keep myself from yelling their name to pay attention, or in one boy's case, to take his hands off his face with his fingers in his nose and ears--let's just say there as a death stare until he looked at me.

anyway, this is just a quick update on our life, and mostly mine because, remember, i'm pregnant? so really that title has to do with how i am feeling.  chop my head off, roll me in butter, and cook me for thanksgiving day!  i haven't taken any "bump" photos because there is no bump. just my "maternal storage tissue" to protect that baby.  it only looks like a baby bump when my bladder is totally full, which is quite often.  all of this causes my 15 or so pencil skirts (i never realized i had so many until i counted one day) to not fit.  i have a few that will still manage to zip up all the way--the rest i don't zip them up all the way and wear a sweater or shirt untucked. such is the pregnancy life! enough of my woes.

currently the baby is the size of an avocado.  last week he/she was an orange. just going through those fruits! i just wish we were at watermelon stage...like fast forward to may. i'm pretty pumped for this little baby to come, and we still have 24.5 weeks to go!

in other news, winter came early and snowed a ton this weekend, mostly friday. which was good because we were still able to go on our marathon date saturday.
tucanos (to celebrate steven's job offer/acceptance and also i had a free meal for my bday coming up), then to park city for a couple hours at the outlets, then to salt lake for city creek and dinner at blue lemon (i love), and then to the suns//jazz game (which steven wore his "hopper" suns jersey for.  sorry boo, they lost, and nash plays for the lakers now, remember?).

en route to park city {i don't even remember taking this--i took pictures with steven's phone because mine was acting as dj}

it rain, the rain froze, and it snowed and then snowed some more. there were at least 7 trees around our apartment that had large branches break off from the weight of it. and this was blocking our path.

our current bulletin board.
