these last 2 weeks have been great with steven's family and then dana in town. also, the brother-in-law i hadn't met, matt, returned from his two-year mission in mexico city on wednesday. steven and i flew out to my home in california on thursday where his fam drove out from phoenix to meet us. then we stayed at the marriott newport coast villas resort. it was awesome. it was like a vacation within a vacation home. the hopper's left this morning and steven flies out tonight. me? i'm staying here to play domestic with my mom--shop, sew, bake. you know. and get some major beach time in. and see g.ma and grandpa!

| best part about the opening ceremonies? the part where mary poppins flew in with the east wind. the second they said that the only way to make this nightmare go away...i knew it would be mary poppins. i am so obsessed with her. and you better believe that mary poppins umbrella i have and keep forgetting to bring back to utah is coming with me this time. and my little figurine. and don't be shocked if i am finally mary poppins for halloween this year. |
