--almond butter from heaven. [best for last]

what the may?
where did it come from? when did it get here? i don't know. but i'm sure glad.  less than 4 weeks left of school. actually, 3 for me because i'm taking off early for emily's wedding!!!

testing. ah.
i'm dying. between end of the school year, reviewing, and testing. we are all exhausted and going crazy. and apparently we forgot how to raise our hand, lay sit at the carpet, tape our mouths shut and put on our muzzles, you get it. i'm so ready for summer.

new face wash.
i love it.  one of my student's mother is super healthy--lots of raw foods (the best way to eat), sprouts, etc.  we talk about natural stuff.  a lot.she told me about this awesome face wash she started using. it's actually not face wash.  it's oil.  just read about it here to answer all of your questions [like, why would i put oil on my face?]

now doesn't that look delectable?

almond butter from heaven.
again, from my student's mother.  she finds the most amazing super healthy, raw, amazing, healthy, good, yummy, delicious, amazing recipes via other health blogs, etc.  anyway, here's the original source to this GOODNESS.  I had about 1/3 of a big jar of almond butter left (costco sells the biggy for like $6 and it is AMAZING, unfortunately it uses roasted almonds, but hey, it's like double the price for 1/2 the amount at sunflower. so until we strike gold or win the lottery, this'll do. it's better than PB and it is made solely with roasted almonds.) anyway.  i remember she had posted this, but i didn't have enough time this morning to look up the little recipe (which isn't baking, so amounts are obviously adjustable according to preference). i just poured about the same amount of almond milk to almond butter directly into the jar, added like 3 drops of stevia and stuck my little immersion/stick/hand blender directly in there and blended away. let me tell you: dip in some apples, spread it on your gluten-free/grain free, sugar-free banana pancakes, spread it on some whole grain toast. DIE. and die happy. LOVE from ABOVE i tell ya.  SO GOOD. so creamy, so almondy.love love love. i was excited to come home from school today just for this. [and see my lover-bug]
