sunday night. yeah, this mess had been there since friday night. prepping my new centers for the next couple of weeks = lots of cutting.

i had a last minute copy to do yesterday, so i let me kids have free time on their whiteboards while i ran down the hall.  when i came back, the room was a disaster and kids were standing on their desks.

okay, not really. they were drawing like crazy, we usually only get about 30 seconds of free time on our whiteboards before a lesson, sometimes.

i came back to this: "mrs. hopper, look! i drew you and steven getting married and kissing under the mistletoe!"

so sweet. and they are so excited to meet steven.

yes, it is getting really cold here.

and those bitter cold temperatures mean indoor recesses.

indoor recess + holiday excitement = cah-razy, antsy, wiggly kids {and one exhausted teacher}

made these goodies for our ward christmas party on saturday. russian tea cakes. or some people call them mexican wedding cakes. 

kendrick family christmas goodie tradition, however, now we strictly do cinnamon rolls {which, i've carried on since i moved to utah}.

 found this on pinterest the other day. i would change 1 thing: ice cream to frozen yogurt. and it's so true.

{okay, not really, but yes really. but no matter how sad or lonely i am, i will never, ever get ice cream/frozen yogurt by myself.  okay, except when i went to visit emily at work by myself and got some 50% off fro yo, but really, who could resist?}
