what?
thursday, 11.17 was my bday. my 24th bday. steven likes to remind me that i'm almost 25 which is half-way to 30, which is almost to 40 then 50. thanks, steven.
i did a little brainstorming and came up with 24 things i've seen/done/accomplished in my short 24 years of life. so here's a list:
1. married my best friend in the temple.
2. ran a marathon without stopping
[okay, i did for a 30 second port-a-potty break.]
3. traveled germany and austria
4. went on a caribbean cruise with my love.
5. earned an associates degree.
6. earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
7. graduated from BYU.
8. successfully taught 22/23 second graders.
9. currently teaching first graders.
10. saw my sister get married in the temple.
11. saw 2 of my best friends get married in the temple.
12. have been to nyc, hawaii, canada, niagra falls, iowa/minnesota, back and forth between utah and california.
13. got an ulcer.
14. went to d.c. twice [make that thrice in 5 days :)]
15. taught over 30 students how to play the piano.
16. perfected my chi through acupuncture and yoga.
17. lived away from my new husband for 3.5 months.
18. been to general conference like 6 times.
19. stayed on a yacht in costa rica [thanks claire!]
20. watched the bourne series back to back to back on christmas morning after eating far too many cinnamon rolls [dad's dream that came true].
21. travelled the church history sites in nauvoo, kirtland, palmyra, winter quarters, and independence.
23. been to disneyland over 150 times.
24. married my best friend in the temple. [oh did i already say that? that's because it's the biggest accomplishment i've ever made. steven is pretty amazing. why me? i don't know. this kid is something else. love love love.]
