kenley chronicles: 4 weeks // 1 month

happy 1 month, kenley madeleine!

everyone told me she would grow so fast.  what i didn't realize is just how fast she would grow.  or just how fast time would fly by.  here we are and she is already one month old! and what a wonderful month it has been.

kenley has brought so much joy to our little family.  we love her so much and feel so blessed to be the parents of this sweet girl.  we are so grateful Heavenly Father has entrusted us, two imperfect people, to raise this perfect little baby.  we pray daily that we can be good parents to her and that she will grow healthy and strong.

kenley has the loudest cry. ever.

she has the prettiest blue eyes.

she gets those from her dad.

she loves having her hands by her face.

she always had them up their in her ultrasounds, too.

kenley still hates her baths.

her double chin is becoming more prominent.

chunking up.

 she knows what she likes.

she really knows what she does not like.

and she lets you know it.

kenley gets the hiccups about 3 times a day.

at least those don't bother her.

sometimes she likes to stay up at night.

mama doesn't mind too much because she's just so darn cute

and good at those early morning hours.

nevermind the victoria's secret sign in the background...

 she looooves her daddy.

and falling asleep on him.

she likes to make sure she is comfy.

so she'll use her strong little neck to move her head around. 

pick it up, move it to the left. put it down. 

pick it up, move it an inch back. put it down. 

pick it up, move it 5 inches to the right, put it down. 

you get the point.  she's so funny.

baby yawns!

kenley would rather work on her bum lifts rather than strenghtening her neck and back muscles during tummy time.  she strengthens her neck when she is being upright//held against your chest.
