i don't have any pictures to include...so here are some of my favorite flowers. dahlias, ranunculuses, and peonies. mmm delicious.
-that sweet moment when a girl was sharing something in relief society at church last sunday and another girl's baby totally ripped one. loud and long. amen.
-presenting the spotlight in said meeting and saying, "she loves la la la...and anything chocolate." and she says, "um, actually anything not chocolate." um...whoops.
-leaning back to get something from the dresser while sitting on the edge of the bed. i was teetering back and forth, caught my balance for a second then totally lost it and flipped off. and the best part? i saw the whole thing happen in the mirror and steven stood in the bathroom watching. we laughed a lot.
-Steven telling me that the dishwasher was leaking out bubbles again. it happened 2 weeks ago too, the last time i asked steven to run the dishwasher. so i asked him what he put in there for soap...dish washing soap. i guessed it before he showed me.
-sleep talking. yeah. like consciously sleep talking subconsciously. steven came to bed after watching a rousing byu victory and i woke up when he came in and started saying something about pavement crumbles or crumbs or broken pieces...something like that. and he responded and i was telling him to be careful of them. finally he said, "heidi i think you're dreaming." and i said, "yeah, you're right." and i got up and went to the bathroom. i was awake enough to know what i was doing, but still asleep. awkward.
-calling out one of my student's names last night. steven said, "what?" and since i was then more conscious, i just didn't answer.
awesome
-steven cleaning up the kitchen while i was getting ready for church last sunday. then trying to deny it when he came into the bathroom and i asked if he had. he's a keeper!
-65 degree weather and running outside on monday!
-steven winning a $25 gift card to old navy and since neither of us care for old navy he gave it to me and i bought 2 workout shirts that were on sale for $15 each so we only had to pay like $7 and i love him. [say it all in one breath.]
-finishing 23 parent teacher conferences [oh, and the 23 math assessments, 23 language arts assessments, 23 writing assessments, and 23 report cards i graded/filled out the 2 days prior].
-having my bracket do better than steven's [so far]. although, the duke and missouri upsets definitely didn't help.
-having a clean house. like, i cleaned it clean, not i straightened and put things away clean [although, i obviously did that too].
-no school friday. and being super productive [see above].
-a quiet listening walk with my kiddos in the 65 degree sunshine followed by a super quiet journal writing session about our walk. i think it's the quietest we have been since the beginning of the school year.
-temple with my love.
-golden spoon run with natalie. it'd been like a month since i'd been and even longer since i'd been with natalie. much needed. #girltalk
