my little mischievious, sneaky, tricky student was a little clown for halloween. clown suit, rainbow wig, and red honking nose. all but the shoes.
so she goes to the bathroom. she was talking too long, so i went out to get her (my cohort student took over). she was just walking through the door.
me: "where's your nose!"
clown: "uh, the strap broke and it dropped in the toilet!!"
me: "what?!? did you flush it?"
clown: "yes. i just flushed it!"
me: "okay, let's go down there and see if we can get it out."
[um, i was a little bit concerned at this point, and also trying so hard not to laugh.]
me: "why did you flush it! you should have come and got me! we need to call (custodian)."
clown: "well..." she stops and lifts up her wig and out drops...her nose!
i died! she is so funny. i just laughed and said you are so tricky! you little clown!
why do i love mary poppins?
