No, David!

ever read this book?  Or any of the other No, David books by David Shannon?

well, i actually went to this children's book conference last year and heard David Shannon speak.  he's great.

anyway, i found this super cute lesson about being a peacemaker over here on this teacher's blog [which i spend too much time on].

these little no david's are so cute i decided i had to do it myself.  so, i cut out ALL those blue stripes, white t-shirts, heads, hair, hands, shoes, speech bubbles, peacemaker signs, and pants.  for 22 students, plus a few extra because someone [usually the same student every time] seems to make an irreparable mistake.

i'm pumped.

oh, and yes. of course i used googly eyes! they are so much more fun!
